T&T Facades Harbour Road 20

In today’s tough and competitive construction market, T&T Facades is pleased to report that not only is the company weathering the storm, but it has recorded its most successful year to date.

The company accounts for year ending 2017 show an 84% increase in turnover over the previous year  to £7.1m, with average order values increasing by 157%.  In order to manage this high level of growth, staff numbers have doubled to over 20 permanent employees bringing with it high quality skills and talent to the business.

Key to this growth is the company’s strategic move to broaden its range of services in recent years from originally a labour only carpentry and cladding business to a specialist façade contractor incorporating rainscreen cladding and complex glazing providing a full design, supply and installation service to its clients.

Speaking about the company’s success, joint company owner Tom Rutter commented: “2017 has been a pivotal year and a turning point in the company’s history. It’s been the culmination of several years hard work, a focused strategy and dedication to excellent client delivery. We stuck to our plan and early in the year we won our first £1m project, followed shortly by another, both with new Tier 1 contractors and ended 2017 with a £2m project to deliver Cumberland Place, a 12 storey student accommodation block. The support from our clients and supply chain has been fantastic and we wouldn’t have achieved this success without them. Most importantly though, the welfare of our people continues to be our priority and we’re pleased to report another exemplary year for health & safety with zero reportable instances”.

Established in 2000, T&T Facades is now one of the longest serving façade companies in the South of England and proud to be making its mark on the region. Recent completed projects include the Southampton Centre for Cancer Immunology, Harbour Road retirement living development, Vincent’s Walk student accommodation block and the new Premier Inn hotel at Southgate.
