Kingsway House-remediation-cladding

T&T Facades’ latest remediation cladding project is the repurposing of a former student accommodation block to provide critical temporary accommodation for people across the city of Portsmouth.

Working with client Mountjoy and Portsmouth City Council, T&T is contracted to replace the existing combustible components and timber planks with aluminium wood effect PPC on the feature projecting panels, as well as replacement of spandrel panels and installation of new cavity barriers.

Located in the busy, commercial area of Elm Grove, the building will provide a vital service to the local community and is expected to be completed in late summer 2021.

Commenting on the project, joint company owner Tom Rutter said we’re really pleased to be working with Mountjoy and to add another vital community project to our growing portfolio of remediation cladding projects“.
