T&T Facades delivered the cladding package on this state-of-the-art St George’s Health and Wellbeing Hub in Hornchurch, London for the NHS.
The projects vision is to provide a comprehensive facility, combining primary care, mental health and prevention services, cancer care, and dialysis under one roof.
Working directly for main contractor, McLaren, the three-storey building was constructed using a hybrid of traditional and modern methods of construction to reduce building time, minimise disruption and improve safety. T&T’s contract was to deliver the design and installation of the rainscreen cladding package.
The architecture and landscape design of the building has a distinctive character whilst complementing the local residential setting.
Commenting on being awarded the project, T&T Facades’ joint company owner Tom Rutter said “We are very proud to be part of the delivery of such a critical, community enhancing building. The project completed, Autumn 2024.
