Cladding Remediation Project.
T&T Facades was pleased to work with client, Durkan, on its latest cladding remediation project.
This 7-storey, mixed-use residential development in Stoke Newington Road, Dalston was one of the buildings identified as having unsafe cladding materials following the Government’s fire safety compliance changes.
T&T’s scope of works included the removal of the existing zinc façade and all combustible materials, and installation of a new, non-combustible zinc standing seam cladding system and associated cavity barriers and insulation.
Commenting on the project award, T&T Facades’ MD, Tom Rutter said “It’s great to be working with Durkan on this project. As with all projects of this type it’s going to have its challenges being a tight footprint and residents in situ throughout the programme, but something we now have considerable experience with. It’s a good looking building with some complex zinc detailing which the team is looking forward to getting its teeth into”.
The project completed, Autumn 2025.
